In future
in the near future different extensions of the program NewOpenForm are planned:
– Morphing from one piece into the next: How can a texture fade into another one in a structural way? How can the directed graphs change their forms into other graphs, it is planned to develop a map in which you can navigate continuosly.
– Extensions of the arrows, that they can save and transport values, in this way symmetrical structures and rhythms could be build.
– If you replace the samples from “NewOpenForm” with words, you can create syntactical correct (or not correct) sentences. Concerts with voice will be coming soon.
– “NewOpenForm” is expected to be used more interactive in the live-performance. The program could also show graphical instructions for the musicians.
